Description: Restoration 16th century mansion
In 1992 the restoration started: repair of the rear side; box gutter and two
pitched roofs were replaced by a flat roof. In the late 90s two balcony areas
with canopies like the west conservatory, the Moorish room and the foyer
behind the pillars. New floor beams and restoration of ceiling paintings.
In early 2002 recovery and boosting of the sagging middle section with the
dome and all the plaster and paint work outside. The final stage started in
September 2003, mostly repairs. Behind the pillars in the front, the mosaic
floor tiles were removed. They were returned without damaging them, after
leveling the floor.
